TIP One
from Iris Instruments
The TIP One is specifically designed for shallow induced polarisation (IP) or resistivity sounding investigations. The TIP One injects a regulated current or regulated voltage into the ground via a simple 12V battery.
This transmitter is generally used together with V-Fullwavers or Elrec Pro receivers. It is a small, lightweight system which is straightforward to operate as the instrument manages the injection current and voltage automatically. When powered on, the TIP One automatically operates several safe tests to ensure that the device is not misused.
