Application Methods

The table below has been designed as a quick reference guide to aid non-specialists with a means of identifying the most applicable near surface geophysical methods for a verity of applications. In some instances the same ranking has been issued for different geophysical methods indicating that a multi-disciplinary approach is best practice.

The method ranking for each application has been considered in the wider context and are not environment specific therefore it is advised to consult an experienced geophysicist to determine any environmental noise which could rule out certain geophysical methods.
